Indian B Techs soon to get Global Recognition

Indian Under graduate B Techs will soon see global recognition. It will come in reality from 2013 if India' s bid to join the
Washington Accord for International Accreditation is accepted.

If this succeeds then Indian Engineering UG degrees will stand along with the degrees of US, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa and six other nations, and Indian students can seek jobs and higher studies in other countries with much ease.

The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) is planning to become a permanent member of the Washington Accord in June 2013.

India has been granted a provisional member in 2007, but it has to invite the Washington Accord to audit its Accreditation system, in order to enjoy the privileges of a permanent member.
